Thesis topic: The aim of the project is to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the performance and thermal behaviour of battery systems used in automotive applications. The methodologies employed include numerical simulations to analyse the performance of battery systems currently used in Toyota vehicles, along with the development of a Battery Management System (BMS). The final objective is to design and optimize an efficient Battery Thermal Management System (BTMS), including the simulation and development of advanced cooling systems to ensure safety, reliability, and improved overall performance.
