Graduation: Building Engineering and Architecture at University of Pavia

Supervisors: Prof. Vittorio Marco Casella

Thesis topic: Spatial assessment and modelling of viticultural suitability under climate variability for sustainable vineyard planning. The research investigates the influence of climatic, topographic, and soil-related factors on grapevine performance, with a focus on Pinot Noir in the Oltrepò Pavese region. It evaluates the effectiveness of GIS-based multi-criteria analysis and fuzzy logic modeling to support decision-making, risk assessment, and the long-term adaptation of viticultural systems to changing environmental conditions.
