Supervisor: Prof. Ferdinando Auricchio, Alessandro Caimi PhD.

Thesis topic: Development of a microfluidic system for the continuous production of nanoparticles for medical therapies. 

    • Design and Simulation: Developing an integrated CAD-CFD automated workflow using Python for streamlined design optimization.
    • AI-Driven Optimization: Implementation of physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) to optimize system design.
    • Additive Manufacturing: Utilizing 3D printing to produce microfluidic components with high precision.
    • Control and Electronics: Designing and integrating electronic systems for precise fluid handling and automation.
    • Production Platform: Creating a robust platform for scalable and reproducible nanoparticle synthesis.
