Thesis topic: My research is based on the direct numerical simulation of triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) structures based on gyroids, using the Finite Cell Method (FCM), which enables the analysis of complex parameterized geometries without the need for body-fitted meshing. Hyperelastic constitutive models are employed to represent the nonlinear response and large-deformation behavior of these structures. This approach allows for the optimization and simulation of complex components, particularly in biomedical applications.
