Arianna Callegari

Arianna Callegari is Associate Professor of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering at the University of Pavia, Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Her research focuses on sustainable water and wastewater treatment, groundwater remediation, bioelectrochemical systems, resource recovery and circular economy approaches in environmental engineering. She has been involved in many European and national research projects, including Tempus, Erasmus Mundus, Erasmus LLP, CARIPLO and PRIN projects. Her work combines experimental and applied research on advanced treatment technologies, energy recovery and innovative processes for environmental remediation. She has authored more than 60 Scopus-indexed publications, with an H-index of 31.
