Andrea Penna

Andrea Penna is Full Professor of Structural Engineering and Dean of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the University of Pavia. His research focuses on the seismic assessment of masonry and historic structures, seismic risk mitigation, and the protection of cultural heritage. He has led major large-scale shake-table testing campaigns with the EUCENTRE Foundation, co-developed the nonlinear structural analysis software TREMURI, and gained extensive post-earthquake field survey experience in Italy and worldwide.
