Biography

Ferdinando Auricchio (h-index 86) is Full Professor of Solid and Structural Mechanics and a leading expert in computational mechanics, as well as additive manufacturing. He has been President of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS), plenary speaker in more than 20 international conferences, and he has been awarded prestigious medal and fellowships, among which, Fellow Award by International Association for Computational Mechanics (IACM), the Beltrami Prize, the Theodore von Karman Fellowship for incoming scientists, and the Euler Medal.
