Graduation: Enviormental Engineering at University of Pavia

Supervisor: Prof. Arianna Callegari

Thesis topic: Mock Circulatory Loops (MCLs) replicate cardiovascular systems for in-vitro assessment of vascular structures and cardiovascular devices. This study presents a Hybrid MCL integrating a computational cardiovascular model to enable autonomous regulation of pressure and flow, as well as acquisition and analysis of data from ex-vivo and cardiac assist device tests.
