Biography

Graduation: Bioengineering - Cells, Tissues, and Devices at University of Pavia

Supervisor: Prof. Michele Conti, Prof. Ferdinando Auricchio

Thesis topic: Multiphysics simulations of computational biomechanics, with a focus on haemodynamics and aortic vessels. Development of a methodology to predict cerebral and end-organ ossigenation during ECMO treatments. Investigate the effects that biomechanical devices such as TEVAR, TAVI and TARR have on patients' hemodynamics and outcome.
