Thesis topic: The research activity focuses on advanced infrastructure management, with particular attention to the transition toward predictive, data-driven and probabilistic approaches, where digital tools and data availability are reshaping maintenance planning. The aim is to develop an integrated predictive Asset Management framework that combines Digital Twin models, Machine Learning techniques and a Decision Support System (DSS), enabling the probabilistic assessment of degradation and supporting risk-informed decision-making across multiple infrastructures. The case study analyzed serves as a testbed for the development and validation of the methodology, with the ultimate goal of ensuring its scalability and added value in optimizing maintenance strategies over large infrastructure networks.
